Anybody know if this would NOT work? No. See DirectTV, No. Apple TV is not supported to view NFL SUNDAY TICKET. Apple users can view on their MAC computer, iPad (iOS v3.2 or higher), iPhone (iOS v3.1.3 or higher) or iPod Touch(iOS v3.1.3 or higher). punch it in 09-06-2014, 07:16 PM No. See DirectTV, No. Apple TV is not supported to view NFL SUNDAY TICKET. That's what he's saying: https://support.directv.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3302/~/can-i-use-my-apple-tv-to-view-nfl-sunday-ticket%3F I don't know the 'whys' but there's obviously something Apple TV can't handle to relay it. Whether it's specifically designed to block it at DirecTV's request, or a simple resolution/format problem... I have no idea. But DirecTV specifically says this will not work. My mac has a thurderbolt (minidisplay port) adapter on it and I run a mini display port to hdmi dongle off it to display stuff on my TV. Not sure what generation iPad you have and what connections are available, but that may work for you. punch it in 09-06-2014, 07:22 PM That's what he's saying: https://support.directv.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3302/~/can-i-use-my-apple-tv-to-view-nfl-sunday-ticket%3F I don't know the 'whys' but there's obviously something Apple TV can't handle to relay it. I know it sounds as if we’re killjoys but we have to protect our intellectual property.” punch it in 09-06-2014, 07:47 PM ^ LMAO. So true. Thats the upside down dumb ass world we live in.
