I think we need to wait until the bye week to start calling for RG3's head. At least then the season will be more than halfway over. No knee jerk decisions til then.

If Skins lose ugly to Jax. Lord help them.

I don't think anyone is calling for his head. What's so bothersome about yesterday is we basically ran a high school offense for most of the game. To me it's more on Gruden. He called the game like he was scared. Very easy to put a TE on Watt's side and take his ass out of the game. You have to try and push the ball down the field a little more.

I hear you but if we are saying we are 7-9 8-8 team. Jax at home should make up one of those wins.

Good little vid in the middle of this article on RGIII.

I agree the defense wasn't the problem, special teams cost them 8 points ..... fumbles cost them ??? points. A slow thinking QB, and a bad O-line cost them points too. RGIII holds the ball forever, he rarely makes quick down field throws.

The defense played well, and played better than most expected. That being said, it was dissapointing that the defense had such a hard time getting off the field in the fourth quarter. I'm sure every fan of every bad team feels this way, but for the bulk of the Haslett era, it has felt as though the defense has struggled making quick fourth quarter stops when the game is still winnable. Houston had the ball for over 13 minutes in the 4th quarter and racked up nearly as many yards as they had in the previous three quarters combined.

Can't complain about the defense yesterday. They gave up 10 points. Yeah Rambo still sucks but there was so many positives about yesterday. We have a legit ILB in Robinson. He looks like a complete football player and he's only going to get better.

We need a Decade Team or something. Like a special avatar saying you are in the decade club. That be kind of cool. I still got a year to go.

Does the fact that i have posted more in two years than alot of the all decade team has in ten get me an avatar?

To me the game plan seemed like they were scared. You can send a back or TE over to Watt's side. There were hardly any passes over 5 yards. You mean to tell me an NFL offense can't run Jackson and Garçon on 10 to 20 yard routes? Either the coaches are coddling Griffin, or he's playing like John Beck. In the end, the game came down to the blocked punt, block fg and the fumbles, 4 plays.

I think Gruden is very aware of the right side of the line's limitations. Maybe he didn't really believe the tape when Free Agency and Draft time came around, and wanted to see if he could get more out. But fact is, if the game plan had been skewed more to the deep throws, it would have been worse no matter who the QB was. And, the Skins adjusted and were getting consistent drives after the first one or two. Given that Houston had a new coach, we hadn't seen Clowney/Watt together, and they had their other star who was out most of last year back, I give the team a one week pass.

Now this week, no such thing. All the cards are on the table at this point.

I didn't have a problem with the plan. We all knew quick passes were going to be called early and often, and that's what the Texans were willing to give all day. I think Gruden would have liked to take more shots, on the first sack Griffin was clearly looking down field. There was simply too much pressure to dial up more long developing plays. To me it just came down to those two turnovers. That's 2 potential TDs left on the field. The entire landscape of the game would have changed if we even just came away with 10 points.
