It's looking good for Griffin. PFF says he still has the same weaknesses he had here: he runs and panics if the first read is covered and doesn't make it through his progressions. Luckily, the offensive system in the Cleve accounts for this and the routes are designed to become open later in the play while Griffin is on the run. Seems to be looking up. McVay and Gruden really should have accounted for that in the Detroit preseason game last year. punch it in 08-05-2016, 08:16 PM RG-3 is not NFL QB material. Who gives a hoot about camp or practice? They really don't respect at all. DYoungJelly 08-05-2016, 08:47 PM RG-3 is not NFL QB material. Who gives a hoot about camp or practice? PFF? I agree with you. He will be lucky if he hasn't broken something before they make the trip here. Marshawn Lynch on the other hand never spent a dollar of his salary. He lived off of his endorsement deals money and never touched his Seahawks pay checks, which is why he was able to retire early with millions in the bank. mooby 08-07-2016, 12:07 AM https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-training-camp-tour-browns/?utm_content=bufferd858e&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=nfl The Pro Football Focus Team weighed in on RG3's performance in camp thus far. I agree with Punch but if Hue Jack has designed a system that will minimize RG3's weaknesses I won't be angry if RG3 bounces back this year. As long as we shut him down I'm happy. I'm honestly more upset about AlfMo leaving us than I am about RG3. Both had excellent rookie seasons and then slow downward spirals after that. Difference is we paid more for one. artmonkforhallofamein07 08-07-2016, 12:24 PM I agree with Punch but if Hue Jack has designed a system that will minimize RG3's weaknesses I won't be angry if RG3 bounces back this year. Difference is we paid more for one. This is what I am really afraid of. We know how good RG3 was when he was in an offense tailor made around him before that terrible knee injury. He could come out here and look like an all pro, absolutely shredding our defense with his arm and his legs.... And i would hate to be on here if that happens, because alot of people might come out of the woodwork and say "Oh we should have kept him, he didn't get a fair chance" blah blah blah |
