i sincerely hope that we do not trade kirk.
not even kirk and the 17th for the 1st and 12th.
Why, do you think there is a chance for a long term contract ?
Cousins isn't getting traded unless it's a ridiculous offer, like bigger than the RG3 deal.

yes.
w the chance of him being dealt before or during the draft, signing him has not been an urgent matter.
if he's still on the roster after the draft, it becomes a much bigger priority before the deadline in july.

Cleveland is not going to give up high draft choices unless they can sign KC to a long term contract.... I doubt that will happen in the next 8 hours
I like the idea though.
Yeah thats a good point,Cleveland has made some questionable deals but they probably wouldnt trade for Cousins unless a deal was worked out beforehand, and I think the skins would only do it if it was done without Kirk knowing about it beforehand.
I think I had read earlier that Kirk was concerned if he signed the tag that he might be traded to cleveland,so he def does not want to go there.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Redskins have discussed acquiring another first-round pick, and that Michigan LB/S Jabrill Peppers could be a target.
Per Rapsheet, the Redskins have discussed trading back into the "late" first round. That's where Peppers seems most likely to come off the board.

if we add 2 picks somewhere near the range of 25-64 in exchange for 17, i'll be thrilled.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that we're trying to trade back and potentially target Jabrill Peppers. The tweet below was in response to Mike Garafolo.
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet: Redskins have discussed trading back into late 1st. This could be a target. They need secondary help.
Mike Garafolo @MikeGarafolo Mentioned on @nflnetwork just now: Skins contingent including Bruce Allen worked out/had dinner with Jabrill Peppers in Ann Arbor last wknd.
