And until we get reports of Rivera giving Haskins "game tape" to study at home (which is actually a blank cd), and then Haskins comes in the next day talking about how the game tape looks good, I'm not worried.

I think Haskins will be fine, but if I am Rivera, I would have to give that a try. That's too funny.

How about Rivers as a low cost veteran backup?

It is OBJECTIVE to state that Haskins:

- Has had multiple former college team mates state that he's not completely devoted to and focused on football
- Had multiple reports during the early parts of the season that he was not putting in the work and effort because he was entitled and miffed that he was not just handed the starting job
- Was reported that he did not know the playbook and that Adrian Peterson talked to him about it
- Was not viewed by his coach as being ready to start for these reasons, not his skill
- Did not earn the starting job until he had a come to Jesus talk with Callahan, begin to improve on these things, with the help of Alex Smith as a mentor
- Was seen on the sideline talking AT his veteran offensive line asking what he could do to help them. They did not show the appearance of receiving his comments favorably
- Missed the last snap of a play to take a selfie with a fan
- Missed the Head Coaches introductory press conference
- Tweeted that he was ready to get to work, yet has not been reported to have met with coaches or been to Redskins Park

These are all OBJECTIVE facts.

Whether one thinks none of this matters, or is a sign of a troubling pattern, is SUBJECTIVE.

Are you serious w/ this nonsense? By all accounts he was starting to come around at the end of the year. He is a very young kid put in a very tough spot. Let him grow into his role as a leader. You don't walk out of one year of college and become the team leader.

Rivers ain't coming here. Why would he move all the way across country w/ 100 kids to be a backup?

The only way Rivers ends up here is if the Skins kidnap him muppet style.

I'm disappointed in anyone who took that post seriously.

Unless Haskins is blowing off Rivera's phone calls and telling his teammates he's too busy partying to attend, I couldn't care less why he didn't attend the presser.

My bad.. After reading this post, I realized that my comment on your post was more about the situation in my workplace more than what you said in your post. A few of my coworkers are holding grudge against the organization and it was the first thing they talked to me about when I got to the office yesterday. It is frustrating situation for me because the situation is about the rules Medicaid just implemented and my coworkers are holding it against the organization without understanding the full context - Medicaid is the one who implemented the new rules, not the organization.

No worries dude :food-smil

I think it's a symptom of the digital age, people are just quick to rush to judgement without taking context or all the info into account.
