I disagree. I dont know why everyone is so in love with Kurt Warner (not you specifically). I just feel like he hasent done anything substantial in so long; and while I think the guy was a great story a while back, he's just not good anymore.

JJ Arrington is someone who I think can find a good spot in the league, but he's a rookie; and he is not running behind a very good offensive line. Even with those recivers last season, they were only ranked a couple spots higher than we were offensivley. They are just in the middle of the league defensivley. In addition, they were the only team the freaking 49ers beat last year. I know this is a parody league, but I just dont think the addition of Warner and a few rookies are going to make a difference overnight. Thats not to say I think they will be a bad team, because if any team sleeps on them, it will mean trouble. But I dont think this team is anywhere near NFC Championship Material. :twocents:

Well, last season, Boldin was injured and didnt play until game 7...and even when he return, he didnt show the form he did in '03 when he may have been the best rookie ever

And how many QB's didnt the Cards last season? And who were are they?

McCown.. Shaun King...Navarre..does it get any worse?

Im far from a Warner homer, but his last 4 seasons he's played in a pass happy rams offense and got murdered while there. He suffered a thumb injury that kept him inconsistent for the better part of 2 years.

He played behind a lousy Giants OL and was 5-2 and playing fairly well--the Giants the lost 2 games in a row. Couglin and the Giants, feeling the pressure of getting the #1 pick in the draft and expediting his development, inserted Manning into the line up and went into the tank.

I understand the Cards OL is among the elitle, but the Cards (Im sure) can max protect..And with Fitzgerald and Boldin, a top 3 WR tandem in the league, still will get open

The Cards new OC has really stressed getting the ball our quickly.

Another note...what did last years final 4 (Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Philly, NE) have in common?...

QB pressure.

Add Okeafor, a full year of experience and an offseason for Dockett, and of course Berry along with Rolle and Tate..

Im on their bandwagon

cards have an okay RB, but not really great and no Oline to help them... warner has trouble when he has to make plays with his feet and while the WRs are good, i say at least the raiders, lions and packers, and possibly the panthers or vikings...

you keep saying that, but i don't think its true... top 10 maybe, but not even top 5.

I still like the Cardinals to compete in that weak division, but I still dont think they are that great.

They aren't....yet. But, they've got a solid, young foundation of players to build upon. Guys like J.J. Arrington, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Karlos Dansby, Bertrand Berry, Darnell Dockett, Antrelle Rolle, and Adrian Wilson make me think this franchise could go very far.

I say the Raiders....

Detroit has the POTENTIAL to have a better trio but outside Roy Williams, Mike Williams is a rook and Rogers hasnt even come close to playing a full season

The Pack are a few steps below along with the Lions and Vikings

The Raiders are an excellent pick; I picked them, along with the Cardinals, to be the breakout teams of 2005. Their offense is going to be scary. Kerry Collins is a perfect match for Randy Moss (both excel at the deep passing attack) and LaMont Jordan looks like he might be worth the money the Raiders paid to get him.

I don't think Detroit is going anywhere as long as Harrington plays with such inconsistency. Other than the quarterback position though, I think Detroit has a bunch of talented players on both sides of the ball (although the defense has a few big holes).
