paulskinsfan 08-30-2005, 02:05 PM Why are you so high on Warrick, a guy who's had more than his share of injury problems? He's had knee and leg problems the past couple of years.
Im not "high on Warrick" for millions and millions of dollars. All Im saying is that this late in the preseason, if we can get him cheap, we might want to sign him. He has been fairly productive in the past, certainly more so than Taylor Jacobs. If he would sign for the vet. minimum, or close to the min. then he may be worth a look and we may want to send Mr. Jacobs out to Victoria Secret for a new set of panties.
That Guy 08-30-2005, 02:18 PM I think we're good, at this point a new WR might not be useful for a while, the skins would have to check his conditioning, the QB wouldn't know the guy that well, etc.
I'd take price over warrick though, that's not very close.
Sheriff Gonna Getcha 08-30-2005, 02:41 PM Man, Peerless has really been a bust ever since he's been without Eric Moulds on the other side hasn't he?
He's definately been a bust in Atlanta, but I think Vick really hurt him. Vick never looks to his wideouts to throw the ball; he pretty much just runs the ball or passes to his TEs or RBs. I saw a lot of Falcons games last year where wideouts were open but Vick didn't pass the ball to them.
jermus22 08-30-2005, 03:00 PM I like our d-line already, why bother adding another guy for just one year? As for Jacobs, it's hard to say. He's extremely talented, but he's also very brittle. I probably wouldn't bother looking for another receiver since we still have plenty of competition there.
diehardskin2982 08-30-2005, 03:03 PM Koren Robinson?
The guy is a bust who can't stay away from the bottle.
No thanks.
:laughing2
That kills me how u guys write someone up so quick to be a washed up...
The guy has only been in the league 5years getting over 400 yards each year
While price has been in the league for 7, and guess what, they have very similar stats. Only difference is Koren has more size, Price has more speed. plus the past 2 years they have gotten the same amount of touchdowns. Koren will not be brought in here as a Number 1. We have a number 1, and a 2, he would have to work his way up like everyone else. As for the concentration issues, they may be not as bad as everyone thinks... All the recievers in seattle couldn't catch, even the greatest Jerry Rice dropped ball out there.
:party-smi The drinking issues, it may not be as bad as the media made it out to be. I think he was a scapegoat. A couple of years ago Springs was "washed up" before he came to us. Koren is going to be the cheapest and most productive solution. justify to me why he wouldn't be.
Counter-Tre 08-30-2005, 03:08 PM I would be surprised if Philly didn't snatch up Price. As far as Warrick is concerned, word is the Pats are interested.
paulskinsfan 08-30-2005, 03:10 PM The problem with Koren Robinson is, well, he's a moron. That idiot showed up for his jail time DRUNK! So he knew when he was going to report to jail well in advance, and he still showed up drunk. That's just pathetic, ya can't teach basic intelligence. If we take a receiver cheap, Id stick with either Price or Warrick.

I said he was a bust, not washed up.
At this point in his career he is a bust, he's had one quality season out of 4, and for the most part he's been a big disappointment.
The guy is a mess off the field and in turn it's really hurt his game on the field.
If he can get cleaned up he's a talented guy, but he's got a lot to prove.
Personally I wouldn't waste my time with him.
diehardskin2982 08-30-2005, 03:17 PM price or warrick aren't going to be cheap, thats the problem. Koren will be. Darrell gardner was a beast for us and he has had plus continues to have personal problems. I still have not seen one reason on football field, not to sign Koren
paulskinsfan 08-30-2005, 03:24 PM I'll bet that either Price or Warrick, one of the two, will be signed for less than 2 mill.
