we can't let ourselves get caught up in all this stuff the media stirrs up, YES i whole heartedly trust gibbs, it's a shame how the bitterness and the cynical ways of the press and our own disappointment with our owner, past coaches and teams has now caused us to doubt one who deserves better. he is the best chance we've had sense he left to make some noise.

Did anyone see th interview in which they asked Lavar about the QB change it looked like he had all he could do from shaking his head and laughing, he sounded like he wanted to say this poor kid what next, then he said were all men he has to tough it out, he really looked like he was biting his tongue. :laughing-
Yep, I saw it too. It looked to me like ol' Lavar definitely wanted to say more, but wisely chose not to. From what he did say, it appeared that he sympathized with PR.

Do I trust Joe Gibbs to do what?
Do I trust him to try to win every game that he sends his players out on the field for? Yes I do. So do all the NFL coaches - past present and future.
Do I trust him to give the effort it takes to be a winning NFL coach? Yes I do.
Do I trust him to be bound by the parsing of each and every sentence he utters about the team and the players? Nope. And I wouldn't want him bound by that either.
Do I trust him to build a team that can win one year and then be solidly constructed for the future? Not really. Gibbs is a "win now" guy who probably figures that if the team has problems down the line he can figure out a way to fix them too.
Do I trust him to be sensitive to the feelings of his players? Not really - - unless they are bona fide STARS and have lots left in the tank so they can continue to be STARS. Know what? That's the way I'd handle the personalities and egos on an NFL team too.
Do I trust him?
Depends on what you mean...

NO....emphatically!! I did 12 years ago. 11 years "out of the game" obviousley took it's toll/ Comebacks after that long are not possible, for players OR coaches. Plus he had Jack Kent Cook!! I say just wait: Brunell will flop and you will see Campbell> That is the Snyder Gibbs plan. AIfthey think they have a rookie phenomenon like Tom Brady, they are whistleing in the dark!

I wouldn't say that so fast 1st of all:
Brady was overlooked by every team in the league an average of 5 times during the draft.
He also didn't take over the pats until his second season.
I am not saying Campbell = Brady but you just don't know what JC is capable of.

its fine (and sensible) to trust coach Gibbs's conviction over your own. but stop pretending you've never questioned him.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU doubted Gibb's decision to keep Brunell in so long last year.
please stop claiming the bandwagon to yourselves this year or put an asterisk next to the slogans where you replace the word God for Gibbs.

I think SUNRA was pretty supportive of the decision if I remember correctly. And I'm sure there were many more.

So does that mean we can't change our minds??
Don't act like you've never changed your view on something when circumstances change or you see another side of things.
If Brunell plays well and the team is winning are you telling me you won't change your mind?
Or will you keep pointing to last year and keep insisting he sucks, even if he turns out to be improved over last year?
