Get injured sometime before the game so you can have an excuse to not go shopping. Then she'll feel bad for you and spend her birthday watching the game with you. :laughing-
I'm facing a dilemma (sp)jermus22 09-28-2005, 08:31 PM Get injured sometime before the game so you can have an excuse to not go shopping. Then she'll feel bad for you and spend her birthday watching the game with you. :laughing- JoeRedskin 09-28-2005, 09:08 PM Did you pay for that appointment? If so you got hosed. When my wife is adamant about making plans during a game, I just drop the cat off at the pound about 2 hours before the game and tell her she got out. I let her walk around the neighborhood and make up fliers for a few hours. Then I go "looking" for the cat after she gets exhausted (usually around 6) and I always "find" her. Then I get Hero Sex. You gotta be more creative. While I found this solution amazingly creative and laugh my balls off funny, my wife (who was reading the posts over my shoulder) found it less than amusing (actually, her exact words - with more than a little anger in her tone - were "What a bastard"). So, consider yourself chastized. I, however, am most disappointed by the fact that she read the post - now I can never use this one. Damn! (J/k - my wife actually is a BIG skins fan now. She still hasn't forgiven Spurrier for letting Stephen Davis get away, AND, more importantly - the first football game she went to with me was the game they FINALLY broke the losing streak against Dallas in '93). rome108 09-28-2005, 11:04 PM Chances are somebody that you're dating when you're 17 isn't the woman you're going to marry. I would like to expand on this quote. Not only is this true, but even when you do get married your dick eventually falls off. In my house, I take my wife and daughter shopping all the time and daddy can't even get the "big piece of chicken" (Chris Rock quote) in return, in other words no apprectiation. So for now while your young and kickin' and a man about - take charge and watch the Skins clean up Seattle. period. LadyT 09-29-2005, 08:57 AM I think I'm in LOVE! Can you come talk to my girlfriend? :smashfrea Just tell your lady "Love me, love my Skins"! onlydarksets 09-29-2005, 10:05 AM Nice poll, but I am very disappointed in two Warpath members... http://www.thewarpath.net/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=150 MTK 09-29-2005, 10:07 AM I think we need some answers from the two that would go shopping over watching the game. 12thMan 09-29-2005, 10:23 AM Every Sunday before the game I find myself gazing at our wedding photo that sits on the coffee table right next to the TV. Ahhh....the day we were married! I can't believe it's been almost twenty years. Wow, how time flies! She's just as beautiful now as when we first met. In the photo she's wearing a beautifully hand sewn gown that has been passed down throughout generations. Now that I look closer, seems as though she really hasn't aged much over the years. I mean, other than the dress she's wearing (I don't think she could get into that thing today!!), that Burgundy and Gold looks practically the same.....and, and, the little logo, yeah the Redskins decal with the feather.....it looks practically the same as when we first met! I guess beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. Now don't get me wrong, we've had our ups and downs over the years, mostly ups, thank God! But one thing we settled a long time ago is how we would spend our Sunday's together. We both find it so amusing when these so called new couples try to figure how to spend their time together and what to do. That's never really been a struggle in our relationship I'm happy to say. I can attest to the fact that our most intimate moments are usually on Sundays around 1pm....occasionally on Mondays, but mostly on Sundays. I mean who really needs a "girlfriend" anyway. Romance is fleeting in this day and age. I'm just glad I don't have to face such daunting choices on Sundays, because me and my significant other are practically inseparable to begin with. Good luck on game day! Sincerely, 12thMan illdefined 09-29-2005, 10:24 AM yeah at first of course i thought LadyT and LadyFan, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
