What about the play where the Broncos argued the Brunell grounded the ball and the refs go ahead 30 seconds after the play is over and then toss the flag? It was grounding, but I thought arguing with the refs doesn't change the call?

this will only mean one thing
we should start winning like the colts do
a 10 to 15 pont margin

so that any tuck rule will not cost us any game
and this can be attainable
by the way tha brunnel and the offense plays

just give us few more weeks
and we will put points in the board
as well as shut down opposing teams

Just curious. Is there a reason your posts come out looking like haikus?

people talk about portis, but the thing is i want to see rushing tds from him, i mean his yards are nice, but hey, tds are more important. i think it's time for portis to get serious and have a big day against the chiefs. this drought has to stop. but another person i'm impressed with is mark brunell. who would've thought in four games he'd have 6 tds and 2 ints? that's pretty damn good.

I don't care who gets them or how, bottom line is we need more TDs period.

We racked up over 400 yards today and moved the ball at will at times, with that kind of yardage we should be putting up 30+ points.

The only thing I dislike with the offense thus far is our goal line packages for rushing, they simply don't seem to work. We need to find SOME way to punch it in, we're playing much better than I expected this year though, I don't feel as if we can complain TOO much.

Everytime I saw Tatum Bell break off tackle and race for 50+ yards, I was wondering, WHY IS LEVAR ARRINGTION ON THE BENCH? I've been watching Holdman closely and he is not spectacular. He gets blocked and caught up in traffic. When he does make the play he barely brings the runner down. When Levar gets to the carrier, he brings the PAIN. He hits with impact. Other than Sean Taylor, that's missing out there. The defense is not the reason we lost the game, but the Skins have an impact player riding the pine and it doesn't make sense. The Skins are not creating enough turnovers. They need their BIG HITTER out there. If the Skins are going to win with defense they need to invoke fear into their opponents. FREE ARRINGTON!!!

If Williams doesn't think Lavar can play, then thats fine by me. He knows him better than I. I think he'll progressively be worked in.

That we did....too many poor calls. And that safety was a safety!

I was a little rusty on the tuck rule so I did a little reading.

Its intention is to have the call be incomplete unless the QB is pulling the ball back into his body. The question is, how do you define that. It's not clear.

But in this case, it was. Plummer actually got his loose hand on the ball. He had completed his throwing motion, the ball was in his throwing hand and coming down by his mid section when it got close enough to his body for him to touch it with his off hand. He was tring to get both hands on it but it slipped through both hands and went backward. So it a fumble.

If its not that, then he actually throw the ball backward, again, making it a live ball.

This was indeed a terrible call. Even Denver reacted like it was a fumble.

So that's 2 points and I believe, we get the ball back with a ton of momentum.

3 pts on the penalty on the FG. 3 Pts on the blocked FG.
The Patton penalty didnt matter, we score a TD later anyway.

As mentioned we didnt have our starting corners and we are still sitting an all pro on the bench.

We are making progress every game. Remember how bad this offense was. We keep adding something every game. We should have won this one.
We are going to have a nice season.

I was pro Brunell as early as the 2nd preseason game. Now I don't think anyone could even imagine Ramsey in there. Seeing Brunell do all the thing a QB needs to do kind of points out how far Ramsey really need to progress before he could play. Honestly, at this point, I dont think he is a pro QB. You have to be able to move better then he does and make decissions quicker and better, plus he has no arc on his ball to make the passes that need to be made. We better hope Brunell stay healthy this year and next because it's going to be hard to replace him with someone how knows all that he knows and can do all that he does.

Ramsey is good for crossing patterns in the middle and outs, where your in the pocket and you have to gun it on a line. That's not going to get it done in the NFL, so I think he is done. He is a Jay Shreider (sp). Jay was a baseball palyer turned QB. Ramsey is a javelin thrower turned QB. There is a lot more to it then a strong arm. Now that you see Brunell doing so many things, the difference seems night and day between the two.
