1. Wu-Tang - 36 Chambers (Grimey, back when there was actually a decent mainstream hip-hop group.
2. Wyclef Jean - Carnival (Wyclef is a beast.)
3. Tom Petty - Greatest Hits. (Always loved Petty)
4. Blind Melon - Self-titled (Most people only know no-rain, but this entire CD is great)
5. The GZA - Liquid Swordz (Every song is amazing. Had trouble choosing between this and Inspectah Deck's uncontrolled substance)

Good call on Liquid swords. I haven't heard it in awhile, but it sure is a must have classic. Most of all the first Wu-Tang solo albums are classics.

Method Man, Raekwon the Chef, Ghostface Killa, ODB.........all had great albums

Word on Liquid Swords. I think it's the best solo Wu album by far... just b/c RZA's production is so on point with GZA's lyrics.

Anyway, GZA's new one with DJ Muggs is pretty solid too.

That's also a really good call on the Carnival.
