i have lots of music on my mp3 player. It'd be hard to pick individual c.d.s from it, but i'll try.

Rammstein - Reise Reise
Rammstein - Rosenrot
Metallica - S&M
Seether - Karma and Effect
Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake

I chose those mainly because they are a wide variety of rock, so i could get all aspects.

Wyclef Jean the Carnival! OH man! I remember "Just Trying to Stay Alive." I still listen to that occasionally myself. He had several good songs on that album. Good ol' Nostalgia

Its good to see local RICHMOND VA rockers getting some love on this board.
I'll also add to all those people that put Bob Marley's Legend on theirs, go get his Babylon by Bus.

Im just gonna list 5 bands, in no order, I'll take any of their cds:
Sublime
Tool
Dave Matthews
Black Sabbath :headbange
Led Zeppelin
Now, 1 must have album
Dr Dre-The Chronic

I also suggest to check out Calexico's Feast of Wire.

1. Wu-Tang - 36 Chambers (Grimey, back when there was actually a decent mainstream hip-hop group.
2. Wyclef Jean - Carnival (Wyclef is a beast.)
3. Tom Petty - Greatest Hits. (Always loved Petty)
4. Blind Melon - Self-titled (Most people only know no-rain, but this entire CD is great)
5. The GZA - Liquid Swordz (Every song is amazing. Had trouble choosing between this and Inspectah Deck's uncontrolled substance)
don't forget Raekwon's "Only Built For Cuban Links" LP. By far the best Wu solo album to ever come out

But by no means am I sleeping on the GZA's Liquid Swordz. Geez, wasn't hip hop great back then---or am I just getting old?
