Hmmm...These aren't that far off either.

Colts (5-0)
QB: Peyton Manning - 1278 yards, 8 TD's, 2 Int's, 95.6 rating
RB: Dominic Rhodes - 273 yards, 3 TD's
#1WR: Marvin Harrison - 32 catches, 442 yards, 1 TD's
5th in Total Offense
20th in total Defense (gives up 5.4 yards per play)
That's all well and good, but what makes the Colts different from the Niners and the Skins is the fact that they win the games they're supposed to win, and even some of the games they shouldn't. That's why they're undefeated.

Can't argue with you there.

Literally stuck. The talk radio airwaves were filled with nonsense in New York. Coughlin had lost his team, the NFC East was too hard for them to recover, and Strahan was a step too slow. Fast forward four weeks, and the Giants are in the driver’s seat of the NFC East. The lesson? The football season is 16 weeks long, not three.

No one gives a crap about an in depth view of the Giants in this thread...

Hey, we went on a great tear last year when everyone counted us out, and we have more talent and coaching this year. We can still do this!
at least we're not SF or oakland.
I'm just fine with my up and coming squad. I think if we have a good offseason on the defensive side of the ball we will be in the playoffs. I would rather be surprising people than disappointing them. Oakland=us two years ago though...

Re: FoxSports - Power Rankings - Week 6
49ers (2-4)
QB: Alex Smith - 1,285 yards, 8 TD's, 4 Int's, 86.4 rating
RB: Frank Gore - 520 yards, 3 TD's
#1WR: Antonio Bryant - 21 catches, 415 yards, 1 TD
14th in total Offense
28th in total Defense(gives up 5.7 per play)

Redskins (2-4)
QB: Mark Brunell - 1,239 yards, 5 TD's, 3 Int's, 86.9 rating
RB: Clinton Portis - 371 yars, 6 TD's
#1WR: Santana Moss - 25 catches, 415 yards, 3 TD's
11th in total Offense
22nd in total Defense(gives up 5.3 yards per play)

Hmmm... They're actually pretty close to the 49ers. The difference is, everyone expected the Niners to be 2-4.
Props for bringing up Alex Smith's stats. Yeah he's a bust, it's those small hands man...

i haven't seen the niners but am shocked at smiths stats. wasn't this the same QB that didn't have a TD pass and something like 11 interceptions last season?

Yep. Norv + Dilfer + The Coryell + Experience + More talent around him help.

We can get something Sunday that we need , momentum . Winning will be tough , but didn't we score over 30 pts at Tampa , and home vs dall-ass & NY ,,,, why not at Indy ? The defence needs to create some turnovers and get some confidence . I'am not expecting a complete turnaround and playoffs but we can develope a winning attitude and carry it over to 07 . I hope we put JC in at qb and can get some draft picks in April . dall ass and sf suck !
