I'm not sure of the year but I think Troy Ak. had been playing for a few years. The game was close or just past the two minute warning, Dallas had the lead, but we had them pinned against the goal line. All they really needed was a first down and Troy went back to pass. Before he could get the ball out someone sacked him and knocked the ball loose and we scored the go ahead points. The old stadium was rocking and we went on to win. My father a big skins fans was sitting in Jerry Jones box (long story) and had to sit on his hands out of respect. The Moss/Moss game still has to be one of the best.
I think that was '94 in December. I bet a Cowboys fan in my math class on that game. He never paid me. Anyways, I think it was Jason Buck and his big mustache that recovered the fumble in the endzone. I love beating Dallas!

Edit: That was 1992 actually and hard hitting safety Danny Copeland recovered the fumble, which was caused by the heavily mustached Jason Buck.
Are we talking all-time? Because if so, for me it has to be the 1982 NFC Championship Game. 2005 was nice. But the '82 championship game was the official sign that Gibbs' Skins had arrived and put us in the Super Bowl
Yeah overall that's it.. figured I'd post only ones after that article

Hands down it was the best game I've seen against the Cowboys, besides the playoff beat down were Danny White cried.

I loved the whole 2005 year, especially the monday nighter with moss and brunell hooking up not once, but twice on fourth and very long to win the game.

I can't even pick the top ten because they've all been great except for last year. Those two don't count because we had such bad coaching and I just try to block them out of my mind. I enjoyed the few blowouts we had against Dallas because I could relax and savor the wins. But for all time greatest games, the close ones have to be the best, and the MNM game in 2005 was the unexpected win that I really liked...

I was a couple of months old at that point. Sounds badass.

I'd love to see the team come out in a march, stand straight lines, loud YES SIR's, etc.. wouldn't go nowadays though haha.
The blocked field goal one is #1 for me after that field goal was made. I just exploded in a hose full of cowboy fans and then I preceded to dry hump a 15 foot tall cowboy blow up doll, doggystyle:spank:. I then got gang tackled and was dog piled but it was so worth it.
this made me laugh!!! epic!

The Monday Night game with Gibbs coming back coaching and the Brunell to Moss TD connection has to be the Top game in this recent rival. That Monday Night game also had at halftime had Troy, Emmit and Irving getting recognized for some Cowboy award. We ruined their night that's for sure. It look like we were dead until Brunell let it rip to Moss for the 1s TD. We still had to stop Dallas when we took the lead. I remember Sean Taylor blowing up Patrick Crayton on 4th down, game over.

Oh I do remember the game when the Redskins went into Dallas wearing cammo fatigues
that's when we had John Riggins running the ball.
can't remember what game but it was at old RFK and Theismann spiked the ball at a Dallas player's head after he ran it in. Caused a huge fight. Also 1983 in dallas: after the redskins scored, the fun bunch gathered for their patented "high five" and everson walls got all butt hurt and tried to break it up. they did it over him anyway... and a fight broke out. Awesome.
I remember when i was little the Cowboys players were saying that if the Redskins did the Fun Bunch High Five that tey would break it up. Man that was crazy. Kinda hard for me to call one of the games from my youth because it's almost all a blur.

The two bombs to Moss game was F'n classic, as well as the 35-7 game. I literally cried that day. I have never been so happy because of a football game in my life. I mean EVERYTHING went right in that game.

As has been said, the '82 championship game and the 2005 MNF game are unquestionably at the top. Other good ones have been mentioned, but has anyone yet referenced the famous "NO, Danny, NO!" game? Season was '84, Redskins were down big at half time at Dallas, and they came back and won. Turning point in the game came in the second half when Dallas had a 4th and one near midfield, and Landry told then-QB Danny White to try to draw the Redskins offsides. White snapped the ball and the Skins stuffed them. The replay, showed over and over on CBS that day, had Landry shouting, "No, Danny, No!" as he snapped the ball.
