:coach: we do not need any secondary help we are fine there we need a #2 wideout and a punter and that is final
you didn't notice how terrible the skins played when they lost 1-2 starters a game in the secondary? harris had a very bad year and will probably be cut, so he needs replacing and we could use another guy on top of his replacement for the next year or two when springs goes. we need him now though cause springs had more injuries this year and with age its more likely it'll happen more often not less. rogers may have injuries problems too, who knows... he played pretty well (besides the large cushions in some games) but he sat out a lot too. you forgot the DE, kicker, DT #2/#3, backup OL, possible backup LB and WR #4. |

he said he'd prefer he went somewhere else (cause sin has had to follow san in HS, college, etc), but if it happened he'd be fine with it (cause he's a team guy first). |
Re: Secondary help and Returner in the Draft
we need someone to rush the passer as a top priority

Re: Secondary help and Returner in the Draft
I think we ought to close this thread since the definitive(or "final") answer has been found.

Also you might want to consider, "If you can see this sig's formatting, it can see you. If you can't see this sig's formatting, you may be seconds away from death."
Now THAT is funny but I can't use it since it wouldn't be original now. I don't roll like that. I am disappointed in myself for not thinking of it first. Stupid creative part of the brain! |
Re: Secondary help and Returner in the Draft
With not having a #1 pick, i know we may not get a starter...but has anyone thought about Hester if he falls to our 3rd or 4th round picks...I know he will need alot of work on Deffense, but he would ad depth and speed and youth to a needed possition...and he would be a GREAT pick up for Special teams, where he can earn his Roster spot for 2 years before, we Springs is done and then he slides to the #2 CB spot opposite of Rogers. What do you guys think????
I would love it if we could pick him up. I just don't know if he'll fall all the way to us, or if there would be any talent at wideout when we get our first pick. I dont think that there are too many super standout wideouts in this draft, but there are several deep linemen possibilities coming out this year, from what I've seen. Hester is a very physical corner, there's no question. I think he'd fit perfectly in williams' scheme, and god knows we need a little help at corner. Not more than Wideout, but we definately need it. |
