FoxSports - Power Rankings - Week 6

FOX Sports - NFL - Power Rankings

Washington suffered a heart breaking loss on Sunday, dropping a “gimme game” to lowly Tennessee at home. Mark Brunell looked shaky, the defense looked porous, and the NFC East division crown looked a million miles away.

I like you Buster. You give me hope. I have a small flicker of hope still burning..... and I'm crossing my fingers for Sunday!!

Yes Buster it is good to see there are still a few of us out there that have faith we will turn this thing around. I think Vincent will help, Springs back will help etc...

We still have a chance, allbeit a small one.... hold out faith.. and if it does not work out this year.. think about we get to see the future (Jason Campbell) a little sooner then expected.. :)

Always look on the brightside of life... at least you are not a Cowboys fan, think about how disgusting that must feel every morning.. I mean a thousand showers could not get rid of that stench.... LOL

49ers (2-4)
QB: Alex Smith - 1,285 yards, 8 TD's, 4 Int's, 86.4 rating
RB: Frank Gore - 520 yards, 3 TD's
#1WR: Antonio Bryant - 21 catches, 415 yards, 1 TD
14th in total Offense
28th in total Defense(gives up 5.7 per play)

Redskins (2-4)
QB: Mark Brunell - 1,239 yards, 5 TD's, 3 Int's, 86.9 rating
RB: Clinton Portis - 371 yars, 6 TD's
#1WR: Santana Moss - 25 catches, 415 yards, 3 TD's
11th in total Offense
22nd in total Defense(gives up 5.3 yards per play)

Hmmm... They're actually pretty close to the 49ers. The difference is, everyone expected the Niners to be 2-4.

That's all well and good, but what makes the Colts different from the Niners and the Skins is the fact that they win the games they're supposed to win, and even some of the games they shouldn't. That's why they're undefeated.

Literally stuck. The talk radio airwaves were filled with nonsense in New York. Coughlin had lost his team, the NFC East was too hard for them to recover, and Strahan was a step too slow. Fast forward four weeks, and the Giants are in the driver’s seat of the NFC East. The lesson? The football season is 16 weeks long, not three.

We can get something Sunday that we need , momentum . Winning will be tough , but didn't we score over 30 pts at Tampa , and home vs dall-ass & NY ,,,, why not at Indy ? The defence needs to create some turnovers and get some confidence . I'am not expecting a complete turnaround and playoffs but we can develope a winning attitude and carry it over to 07 . I hope we put JC in at qb and can get some draft picks in April . dall ass and sf suck !

I bet 1 million dollars that we...

Have a least one illegal formation penalty

At least 3 holding penalties

And 2 - 4 Missed Turnover Opportunities

Brunell will be made to look like a fag

Portis will have have a big game

Novak will make some good kicks

Our defense will surprise Manning and win the game on a DTD

We will win, but my loathing of Brunell will not falter

anyone can say if they have a good offseason...

if we have a good offseason we could be in the superbowl. that's kinda meaningless. the offenses aren't much different right now (though the 49ers get a LOT more garbage time to work with because the defense is giving up over 10 more points per game than the skins, not to mention the easier schedule due to being horrible last year). until the 49ers can get at least 8 wins they won't be surprising anyone.

I don't know about the offseason for the skins, I mean you guys have a lot of money in guys that I don't think are going to help you win much. Also we really don't know what JC is like right now and I assume he will be starting next year, but yeah playoffs are possible for everyone next season (except the Raiders). We have had some garbage time to work with but outside of the KC game our offense has looked pretty good against our other opponents. I think if we can get a mediocre defense next season the team is playoff caliber.
