Furthermore when you got a guy like Vea eating up the middle of an offensive line is going to allow for the rest of the front 7 to better get to the passer. Since when is a NT’s number one job to rush the passer and there is no way he would play 50% of downs.

Chiefs ran for 168 yards against us. And our opponents ran 2.7 yards per rush against us in games when Allen and ionitas were healthy.... that’s pretty darn good.
It’s not that I dont think Vea is good. If we traded down to the 20 or below I’d be fine taking him. But 13 is way too high for him. It would be a huge reach.
