I get what you're saying about how we should make sure guys are healthy before playing them again, better to have them 100% than to see them be nagged by injury all year.
But I
really don't like the line of thinking regarding the schedule being easy early on. In the NFL there is a very very fine line between winning and losing, and there isn't a single game on the schedule that can be taken lightly. If you don't bring it 110% against the Vikings, you lose. You have to get up for every single game, there is no taking it easy. There's no such thing as an easy 2-1 start in the NFL.
