With the extra picks we can plug holes on that line. Branch, Adams, Okoye, and Anderson, all of the guys that we are looking at, are all boom-or-bust picks. Landry is the safest, most reliable pick that we can take. he can come in immediately and make us better without equivocation.

Now if we trade with denver then we have to take a D Lineman around the 25th pick, but if not LAndry is our man
I think Landry is a good pick, but considering all the talent we have in the secondary, I'd only want him if Carriker, Branch, AND Okoye were gone.

We spent a lot of high picks in our secondary the last three seasons.

Also, 4 year starters like Okoye and Adams are guys who there is just as much film on as Landry. You're designation of the DL guys as "boom or bust" seems somewhat unfounded and arbitrary.

I agree that when a guy comes out of college early, theres always a bigger risk drafting him high than if the same player waited until after his senior year to come out, and Landry WAS a 4 year starter, but you can't just declare a guy boom or bust and assume it to be accurate.
