In 87, Monk was injured again and a nonfactor in the playoffs and the Super Bowl, where he had only one catch. Meanwhile, his replacement Sanders went off that day.
Being essentially a nonfactor during those two championship runs lends evidence to those who say he never had any signature moments--since these sort of moments only occur (or at least are immortalized) during the playoffs and Super Bowl.

good points,and Monk had a great catch in the sb against Buffalo that was ruled a td,but Buffalo challenged and it was overturned{if I remember correctly}
