This team puzzles me when it comes to the offensive line. Don't get me wrong, it's great that they got T. Williams, and hell you could say Capers is nice future depth. But, I see things like this and wonder if the coaches are putting too much trust in the returning linemen. I guess the only thing I imagine as to why Mawae hasn't been picked up is maybe because he doesn't fit MS' locking scheme?

I don't know how well he cuts but he's from a ZBS and can get upfield quite well. There's a vid of a Chris Johnson run where Mawae and another lineman are still trucking 30 yards past the line of scrimmage. I know that you can't base everything on one play, but it just shows that he's got the motor still.
