The Oline sucks so he's feeling unbelievable pressure. When he does have a little time in the backfield, his receivers are not open. The play calling is conservative at best. No RB to dump it off to. The most well defined characteristics associated with Donovan's game that has been so upsetting for fans [and I'm sure coaches alike] has little to do with the personnel he's surrounded by or the play-calling. It has more to do with decision making in pressure situations, the propensity for throwing the untimely interception, as well as throwing high, behind, in front of.... and passes into the ground, often to open receivers. These are individual flaws in his game that have plagued his entire career, and in more instances than one have attributed to his lack of success in big games.
