Sure, if we traded picks to get him, this doesn't make sense.
But since all it cost was Synder's money, who cares?? We unloaded a lot of contracts so I think we're looking good for the salary cap.
Atogwe is a good move because:
1) Free agent, didn't cost picks.
2) Seems like a good locker-room guy.
3) Good veteran who can help K.Moore/young secondary.
4) Makes our D more competitive & fun to watch.
Seeing #21 in the highlights was hard to watch. To think what could have been - at least this year we'll see a glimpse of good safety play again.
