But you look at Torain's big games: St. Louis last this year, Indianapolis last year, Chicago last year, and Tampa Bay last year, we're talking about some of the worst run defenses. Chicago being the exception, because I thought Kyle Shanahan attack them senselessly by throwing the kitchen sink at them in terms of blocking schemes, allowing Torain to run hard and put up numbers against a good opponent. We haven't attacked a team like that on the ground before or since.
I never expected him to become this ineffective though. And the Redskins coaches are just in denial on him because they never considered that last year might have been a mirage. But Tampa really was just that bad at run defense. They were the worst in the league at it last year. Kinda like St. Louis or Carolina this year.

Not only that, but he was outright stuffed and thus ineffective in the second half of the Tampa game.
