Possible that the Skins are waiting until after week one so that his contract isn't guaranteed. Someone, I think ESPN980, reported that the Redskins tried to add Texans G Shelley Smith but he was claimed by the Rams and I know they tried to add Texans C Cody Wallace but the Bucs claimed him
