Who needs to step up?
While I am still happy with the start of the season (but disappointed the last 2 weeks) there are a couple people I'd like to see bring their game a little more..
-Taylor Jacobs: To quote the Boost Mobile commercials, 'Where You At?' I expected Jacobs to have some kind of an impact this season but for some reason he is still the #4 receiver. He is rapidly earning the bust label that he has been avoiding because of injuries.. -David Patten: Moss has been amazing, but at some point he is going to see double coverage all game (probably next week) so Patten needs to get deep and make a play to show defenses that they have to be honest. -Sean Taylor: Not really complaining about him, he's been solid, but he wasn't drafted to be solid, he was drafted to be a game changer. He's supposed to be Ronnie Lott, Steve Atwater, Ed Reed, making plays on the ball, causing fumbles, crushing WR and tight ends, blitzing and terrorizing QB.. Once Springs, Rogers and Harris are all in the game and healthy let's see if he is let loose some more. -Whoever is calling the plays: When I can sit on my couch and predict the plays in the redzone, surely an NFL DC can predict the same thing.. Let's see some stretch running plays, that 2 point conversion play was a good one, let's see some more imagination in the red zone..
