Released Redskins
The Redskins have released five veteran players, including veteran cornerback Walt Harris, the team announced on Friday. The moves, which did not come as a surprise, ensure that the Redskins will be under the $102 million salary cap before the start of free agency.
The players released are as follows:

John Hall would be next on my hit list. It isn't that he's a bad kicker, just over priced for his performance/health/KO distance.

david patten,, i hate that guy,, plus he sucks.. i know it aint gonna happen but still it would be nice,m hey isnt fred smooth a free agent or getting released from the vikes ? hmm that would be cool if he came back

I think if he's back even as the #2, you'll see better production of the passing game. He's somebody you have to keep cause he's WAY better than anyone else we've got (barring moss). |

I don't think Smoot is going anywhere. I hear he's added 11 pounds of muscle, according to twincities.com
He must have gotten the 'roids from Clinton Portis.

You can't have all-stars at every position. Patten will be a quality #3. |
