Re: Santana Moss

I get the feeling we're going to see a lot more Moss jerseys around the stadium this season...

Re: Santana Moss

After Moss' performance, I'm sure they'll drop a safety back...making it easier for Portis. Also, if Moss starts drawing double-coverage...it'll make Patten and Cooley's job easier. I hope to see a revitalized Redskins' offense when they come out of bye-week.

Re: Santana Moss

the biggest difference between moss and coles is that coles developed the dropsies (gardner's influence? or all the broken fingers?) and moss can catch.

I like it when receivers can catch... its so hard to get yardage and having your own guys dropping balls really kills drives (look at seatle). I don't really remember dropped balls so far (unlike last year)... royal has missed a couple, but nothing of consequence.

Re: Santana Moss

Moss played like a HOF'er last night.
His speed and hands brought us the victory, but his coolness and class set him apart from most 'big time' NFL WR's. I'll take a pitch to the ref over some bogus cell phone/mooning or sharpie bs. Moss knew he was gonna catch those balls and he did. Thank you Santana Moss!

Re: Santana Moss

What a pleasant suprise Moss has been. I think he'll only get better from here on out, this guy hasn't even begun to hit his stride! (non pun intended!)

I'm defintley happy he played like that. I was a little dissapointed not too see too much of Patten, who is our possession guy. I missed it in all the hype, did he get hurt at all or osmthing??? At least we have a couple weeks to get healthy.

Re: Santana Moss

We're lucky that Moss was running on the field and not on the highway, he woulda gotten a ticket for breaking the speed limit

Re: Santana Moss

I think those two passes to Moss were somewhat out of desperation, but Brunell may have figured out some timing with them. Here is the timing...... drop back 7 steps and throw it as hard and as far as you can! You can not out throw Moss. He is too fast!

I was watching the highlights of that play again last night and believe it or not Brunell actually underthrew that 70 yd bomb to him, you could see him slowing down a bit, but the guy is so smooth it was very hard to pick up.
