True. Leinart will manage the game well for ARZ and he's decent with the deep ball.

I know, it seems as if Mr.McNair will be in B'more next year, unless he decides to stay and help with Young, but he doesn't owe the Titans anything.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

The draft has taught a lot these so-called experts on the draft a valuable lesson. With all of the bullshit said about Vince Young and his questionable IQ and unorthodox style he went before any QB in the draft because he is the best QB in the draft. Leinhart and Cutler were the poster boys for the QB position and barely made the top 10 draft spots. It's a shame that so many of us listen to Mayock, Jaworski and the rest of these idiots who were sitting their trying to explain why the Jets, Raiders and Saints didn't go QB and how nobody predicted Leinhart to go to the Cardinals.

Time will tell if any of them amount to anything, but it just goes to show you that these idiots don't know anymore than you and I do.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

STL gets a very high 3rd and they'll get the DB they wanted anyways at a cheaper price... great move.

I agree...but however I do think the draft experts would have been more accurate if the Texans didn't pick Williams. Whatever goes wrong in the draft is their fault...thats how I'm looking at it.
If we don't get Thomas Howard I'm blaming them too. LOL

Actually I think Leinhart isn't that good on the deep ball. I think he has a good presence in the pocket but has Chad Pennington like speed on his release. It seems the ball takes forever to get to his receivers. The question is will Dennis Green utilize him in the same way that Carroll did.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

I just hate this waiting. maybe they should change it to no more than 10 mins to pick..Never know though me might pull a quick one and make a trade with pitt or atleast someone late in the first round..hmm Deja Vu?

unles young got taken on hype. not one expected culter to go before the #10 slot, and they said #3 would be young or leinhart and the jets would probably take Dbrick over leinhart... so i'm not sure what you're trying to say.
