I don't see why we couldn't replicate with Rak what was recently done with DHall. Let Rak test the open market -- he won't find big money with his combination of injury history and lack of production (stats-wise, at least) this season, and I wouldn't mind at all having him back but for a lot less money. If he comes in on a one year deal and tears it up (on the field I mean, not another pec), then we can consider something longer term. But I think he is surely better than anyone else we can plug in right now who is already on the squad or that we can pick up without spending a lot of $, and I would rather see that spent on O-Line and safety help where we are by far more thin. And if he isn't willing to come down money-wise, then we part ways and wish him well. I think the guy has not lived up to expectations, but I don't question his heart (his brains, maybe, for not realizing or pursing any move to the QB other than a bull rush).
