That is just stupid. With the bump in the cap and at a 23 mil deal the percentage that Cousins would take up is around 14.4% which is lower than the percentage he took up this year. IF we start over at QB again Jay will be looking for work in a year and this team will be back to ground zero all over after finally putting together two seasons in a row with a winning record. Cousins will only get better here, but starting back with a rookie makes me want to vomit.

I'd be willing to bet both sides are just playing this out through the media to build their case. Cousins could have made it much easier on his agent if he didn't lay an egg on the last game -- but I'd bet he's going to be here long-term.
