No, going for the field goal on 4th down and too far to reasonably go for it is not a bad coaching decision, it's just a no brainer. You don't punt from the 33 YARD LINE!@#$!! IMO having a new kicker is a good reason to DO it.

Poor clock management is something like TO's wasted...I don't think you can expect a QB making his 3rd start to know the ins and outs of the game so well that he can run up to a line and call the offense there. I think they huddled after that first 1st down to call a series of plays, possibly saving time in the long run. When you play for the future, you risk sacrifcing the ability to run an efficent, effective 4 minute offense. We huddled like once when we shouldnt have, most of the drive was made in hurry up, and until the INT, I thought Campbell did it really well.

Spiking the ball at the goal line really had no effect on the game. I don't like the goalline fade, but honestly, I think Al has his hands tied with a passing attack that refuses to protect the QB and a QB who is too inexpierenced to know when he should hit his check down.

Abandoning the run was a poor coaching decision, but if you are running the ball with that much success and still can't complete 50%...that much isn't coaching.

We are playing for the future...live with it.
