Re: The Never Ending Thread

Here's a question. When you want something really bad and you don't receive it, who's fault is it that your request wasn't granted? Was it because you didn't put out enough positive vibes or is it because God didn't feel it was in your best interest to answer that particular prayer at that time? Meditating on what you want strongly enough and expecting to get it is like saying that you can will God into giving you whatever you want. The first question you always have to ask is "what does God want for my life." Seek ye first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. I have no problem asking God for things. He says we have not, because we ask not. That still doesn't mean He will give me everything I ask for. As far as the reaping what you sow goes, it still goes back to God and His influence in my life. If someone mistreats me, what do I draw upon to determine what my response should be? His word tells me what my response should be. Finances? Relationships? Follow His word. If I choose to go against that then I run the risk of not reaping the benefits I would have received if I had chosen His will in the first place. Last edited by Lady Brave; 07-15-2007 at 12:46 AM.
