it's too bad the team didn't get rid of Ramsey when we still could have easily gotten a 1st rounder for him since the last 2 years his trade value has dramatically dropped.

nobody has ever offered the skins that high a pick fromthe beginning. eventhe bears weren't offering it when he wasn't signed early after drafting him.

well I know I remember there being talk during the 2004 draft of the steelers being interested in ramsey and a pick for pittsburg's 1st rounder.

on a side note about trades, would anyone be opposed to shopping Ramsey and Betts for Ricky Williams and his extremely cheap contract. he would definitely provide a great change of pace when Portis needs a breather and showed this past year he is willing to take a back seat to a younger more talented rb. just a thought.

A. Ricky is gone for a year
B. He is more of a speed guy then a power guy right now and not only would Betts be a better change of pace right now, he is also a hell of alot cheaper and younger.
