After we get a FA OL hopefully we'll address additional OL needs in the draft. The way things are going we're sure to get a top 5 pick. Instead of trading the pick for more picks we need to grab Russell Okung, he is the best blind side protector in the draft and a beast in the run. We take 6'6" QB Tony Pike in the 2nd round - a tall QB who can see the entire field and actually throw the ball. After that we just add more depth on the line and maybe grab a running back somewhere. Whar do you guys think? Do you have any FA / Draft combos you would like to see happen?
Well, assuming we finish out of the top 8 teams, which seems to be a virtual certainty at this point, rebuilding an entire unit will be quite easy.

You can move everyone on offense out except the bare bones and building blocks. You can cut bait with Thomas and/or Kelly, Moss, Yoder, Sellers, Betts, Rabach, Samuels, Thomas, Collins, etc, and go bargain basement on a lot of free agents who will be available, and get the depth issue correct from the start.

For the record, we would be signing:

2 quarterbacks
1 running back
1 fullback
2 wide receivers
1 tight end
2 offensive tackles
1 offensive guard
1 center

and probably not breaking the bank for any one player.

And the product wouldn't be very good to begin with. But you could improve it through the draft over time. And no more of the current BS.
