Re: Colt Brennan vs Rookie class
Nice mature debate with the namecalling.
That stat that "sickens" you is directly attributable to the lack of an O-line. It's the result of him needing to get rid of the ball within 2-3 seconds after the snap. He's shown he CAN throw deep, but no QB can even attempt deep passes with no time or protection. Anyone who blames JC for that stat doesn't know much about football, or clocks.

See. Chefs game See MNF Giants game. Only reason Candle comes back up from his poor piss reading plays is because he knows his job is on the line. I herd on the LaVar show on JAN 7th that he said he doesnt welcome or approve of us drafting a QB because he feels like hes a starter in this league. He proved that in 08 with the trade thing he wanted, (btw nobody wanted him because he sucked) and now he wont want it right now. If we get a trade for him than holla loya, |

Re: Colt Brennan vs Rookie class
Jesus you're dense. Campbell had similar throws. Is he the best at throwing the deep ball? No. Did he hold onto the ball too long/not protect it well enough at times? Sure! I can make any QB look mediocre by picking out a handful of plays a year or speaking on their weaknesses.
Let me explain why it worked for Collins; they didn't expect it. You bring in a backup and they expect you to go a bit easier on him with the throws or to hand the ball off. We surprised two teams with a couple of throws, it happens. |

I mean but I agree on the Campbell part. Campbell isn't a WCO type of QB and regardless of his stats he's best year in my view was 07, he atleast connected on the deep balls alot better and shown more confidence . |

Re: Colt Brennan vs Rookie class
I'm so confused. Part of me thinks that if we find the right QB in the draft we have to take him, but if we fix the O-Line we can turn this around quickly, assuming that Kyle Shanahan can coach up Campbell. Honestly right now I'm torn.
