I never said the Giants will be losing sleep over this, just the simple point both QBs bring something different to the table, enough to where their gameplan may vary, even just a little, depending on who plays.

You know how this league is, if a coach sees any sort of advantage, no matter how small, they will try to take advantage of it. That's why Shanahan is probably going to wait til the last minute to name a starter.
