I saw the guy throwing around in camp last week and he looked good. I understand that Brunell was too expensive, but just because it costs alot to cut off a tumor doesn't mean that you do it.
cool last preseason we had someone who loved tim hasslebeck in an insanely weird way

Re: Redskins v Panthers pre-game thread

I know Joe won't play the regulars long....so am looking forward to seeing what
Campbell can do...............and also the rest of our rookie class...McCune, Newberry etc. etc.

Also seeing who will strive to take the 3rd WR spot behind Patten and Moss....
checking out Dyson and McCants ..........and Marshall in the middle on D

Our special teams will be the difference in the game. I REALLY do feel Brown breaking one.

I also want to know if Brown will be playing with 2nd or 3rd string because I think he'll go ass-crazy if he has someone like Ramsey or Campbell throwing to him.
Nahh, we didn't get 7 points, but we did get 28. Is that good or bad?

it doesn't matter. it's just a preseason game. im glad we didn't have any injuries, although i would've liked to see us score more touchdowns.

Just remember, his teammates nicknamed him 50-50, not us.

Not the best name for a possesion receiver.

Re: Redskins v Panthers pre-game thread

well, i said i was worried about the passing game, and i knew our dbs were hurting, and those seem to have come true.

rbs are good 4 deep.
Oline was great (0 sacks, plenty of time, good run support)
ST was better than last year (1 return allowed, 1 good return, 1 blocked FG)
D was bad, but with soo many starters injured, they have a pass for right now.
ramsey - terrible, brunell has a live arm?? shocked, but he looked decent... campbell looked great, albeit versus total scrubs.

we passed every play more or less, if we can fix our passing game and get our D healthy we should be good...

CAR has a GOOD team this year, no doubt they'll win their division.

too bad he pushed off on our WORST CB (as in no fans have wanted him on the team for 2 years now) for that TD

anyways, good luck with him.

What happened to Ramsey's cannon arm? Santana Moss has to be thinking, " I just left a team with a QB who couldn't toss it further than 30 yds.!" I mean what the WTF. No one should second guess Ramsey again. He is, what he is. There will be no Drew Brees of a season for this clown. Jason Campbell is future, period.

Wow. I dont understand how the redskins have made as much money as they have during losing seasons with such finnickey fans. Ramsey didnt have bad numbers and its the first preseason game. The kids got a cannon, and if its going to be used in the upcoming season, you can bet it wont be used much in the preseason. Thats gibbs's way.
