Give the Niners some credit though. They've won ALL the games they should had won up until this week, when they didn't put it away. This is at least a 7 win team, and if they get to 9, it could be good enough for the division if they beat Seattle.
I agree. I'm very excited about our chances next year but this year we would just get destroyed in the playoffs if we were to somehow get in.

Re: the forty niners

Great game by my Niners. Gore destroys the Rams defense (literally looking at these guys expressions late in the game you could tell they were completely demoralized after being run over for 3 and half quarters) and our defense folds on the last drive where the Rams had to drive 80 yds+ for a touchdown to WIN...

success in the NFL is all about winning the games you are supposed to.

How did the 49ers become a thread? Rexi must be spreading the disease. Why don't we talk about a good team like the Colts?

Because that wouldn't be interesting. We expect the Colts to be good. The Niners...no way!

Now if the Colts were losing more games than winning...that could be a thread.

I KNEW Bryant could not last a whole season without any problems. Even with the Browns, he still caused problems in the locker room when whining about not getting enough looks even though he was the team's leading receiver. I'm glad we didn't even consider him, although I remember a few people on HERE wishing for it.

Vernon Davis could drastically change the offense, they need to find a way to get the ball in his hands, although johnson is also a serviceable tightend.

Bryant is a chump, no surprise when i saw the DUI report, guy has no class, good luck dealing with his ego when he really starts putting up numbers

And what kind of loser gets a Lambo and drives it ONLY at 100 MPH? C'mon, my little Ford can do that.

I agree. They're closer than one would think. Alex Smith looks like the real deal. I can see them being next year's team that comes out of nowhere to be a playoff contender.

Frank Gore is another example of how you don't have to break the bank for a superstar running back to succeed in this league. Sure, superstars like LT would be nice, but sometimes an Earnest Byner will do just fine.

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed but I agree he's a promising young back.
