I'll be keeping a close eye on it. 68% is very strong, much better than any handicapping service.

I must say, only a pu$$y picks a team to win, but goes against them with the spread. Stop hedging, if you are going to pick the favorite, pick the favorite with the spread, too. Typical candy-a$$ fairy Cowb!tch fan.

I guess we'll just have to see mr. cowboy. Colston being hurt will really slow down the passing game. As far as out offense N.O. D played good against a terrble O-line in tampa and the Saints are'nt exactly know for their Defense. Also we're at home in conference we must win!

Re: Don's Crystal Ball Week 2 picks

Don does have a pretty high winning percentage, and I think his goal is to be a handicapper or odds maker or somthing.

I think his Detriot pick is crazy. We'll see.

I was thinking a lot about the Redskins today, and you have to remember that theres a chance Cambell and Washington might be out. Plus Smoot, Springs, and Taylor might all be lacking. I think this is a dangrous bet to make, solely because Zorn could mess it up. Its a game we should win and i think are going to win, but a first time palyer caller is making the calls and no one still really knows what he's going to do. Haveing a defense that may be weak (and also took a long time to adjust last week), coupled with a new coach that no one really knows what hes going to do makes it dangrous, i think.

I still pick us to win. Hopefull Zorn comes out of his shell

Well pete each week there's at least 1 crazy game the one game that no one saw it comming last week it was Atlanta kicking Detroit ass and Chicago running over Indy.

Now everybody called me crazy for taking Chicago last week but sometimes you see games that the other team even if it isn't as good as the other match well against them.

That's the case of this game I have to agree that I felt better taking the Bears last week than the Lions this week specially because of how Detroit played but; Detroit wont have to worry about the running game as much with GB because Ryan Grant it's hurt and I expect them putting more pressure on Aaron.

Re: Don's Crystal Ball Week 2 picks

The more I think about the loss in NY and ahead to tomorrow's game the more convinced I become about Zorn and the offense going no huddle w/ set plays until they start to move the ball. And... if drives stall out again once Zorn takes over the play calling the offense should immediately go back to a predetermined set of plays. I think the strategy makes sense because it 1) allows the offense to practice the set plays to perfection and execution has been a major problem 2) it adds randomness to the offense which immediately helps us - otherwise superior coaching minds opposite our sideline are predicting Zorn's next move based on what just happened and Zorn doesn't look anywhere near ready to match tactic for tactic 3) the no huddle option usually puts defenses back on their heals and we need as much of that as possible.

I hope to see it tomorrow but who knows what Zorn has in mind.

Re: Don's Crystal Ball Week 2 picks

Man I got the bad end of the stick on the Was vs NO game but it was a greeeeeeaaat game and Was finally showed the explosivness of the offense we were looking for great game guys I was at the edge of my sit the whole time and you can't ask for more.

Finally we saw Moss of old I haven't seen him play like that in 2 years and Portis maaan what a game.

I was doing ok in most of the morning games but in a few second they went sour. NO was winning with 3 minutes and lost, Min lost a game that they should had won but Ind made them take FG all day they lost that game and Det after losing they came back i nthe fourth and were up by 1 25-24 and then decided to play like the same old Lions.

But still with all that I won 280 bucks in the morning games I was going to take almost 500 if N.O hadn't lost it but great morning. This were my tickets.

Ticket 1 made 175 bucks
NY -9
Buf +4
Ten +1

Ticket 2 made me 68 bucks
NY -9
KC under 36
Ten +1

Ticket 3 made me 37 bucks
NY-9
Car -3 (even)
KC Under

so can't complain

What was all that talk about only betting 120 a week? Im letting my one morning game ride on Pitt by 6, which im not feeling good about at all.

peter I bet only 120 per week and I do 3 team parlays like the one's you saw and it pays 6 to 1 if you get it right so I make like 6 bet's of 20 bucks each (not like this but you get the idea) and if I get 1 right of the 6 I make 20 bucks (the 20 they give me back and 120 I won it less but agian an example).

This way I get more chances to make money and if I get 2 tickets right that's were the money is.

Re: Don's Crystal Ball Week 2 picks

I told you about that D. J. Taylor was in Brees face all day, And if Horton plays like this all season lookout. I mean they really only gave up 10 pts, 14 if you strech it and thats pretty nice against a high-powered offense, Even without Colston
