Well, to be like Seattle, all the Skins have to do is install big speakers.

I can't imagine the FBI moving to PG County. I have to believe that Fairfax County is the desired location, for everyone involved. The RFI that prompted all of this chatter says that the location must be >55 acres and within a mile of a Metro stop.

If the Redskins move that far away from Maryland they might lose some more of Maryland to the Ravens. Not sure if Snyder would be okay with that.

FedEx is only 6 miles east of RFK. Not sure 6 miles would really make that much of a difference...

Since its only 6 miles, why bother moving to begin with?

Watching the game today I think the redskins need a retractable roof. I think RG3 and Alfred Morris could be a real dangerous duo in perfect weather conditions.

Your post said Fairfax County that is a lot further than 6 miles from MD. I understand most die hard fans wouldn't care were they play, but from a business perspective it could forfeit younger i.e. school age fans in the Maryland area.

Or better, RFK.

Re: Story about possible move

If this happens, which I highly doubt, the new stadium will be a dome. It's the only way we'll get a Super Bowl in DC.

This sounds phony to me. How the Redskins could influence what the FBI does or enable such a move is far from apparent. And it is likewise hard to imagine that the overall bottom line for Snyder would be better making the move - he would surely have to sink in a ton of money for such an endeavor whereas he's making a mint off the team in it's current digs. Even. If a new stadium increased revenue, it is hard to imagine the increase would cover the costs even when amortizing over the remaining 15 years of the FedEx lease.

My understanding is that Cooke owns the facility, but leases the land. Pretty sure you could search lease on here and possibly find some good discussions of it.
