Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
I will get there about an hour to hour and half early and hopefully get on the gate right their. do other players sign there also? I guess i am wondering if it is a good place to get other autographs as well?
Thanks |

Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
I got there ten minutes early and ended up right on the gate. Moved up slowly throughout practice. Players do sign there. MOreso on towards the left though. But if you are on the gate that is your best shot, especially if you have kids. I mean, lots of people start running after the big name players. If you have little kids you probably won't want to get stuck in a pile of 200 fans. Personally i just stay on a gate where ever. Yesterday i got next to no autographs though. I don't really like running around like a chicken with my head cut off. People chased smoot everywhere.

Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
I was there yesterday and got Gibbs, Campbell, Portis, and Gary Clark. Smoot and Rogers went to the lower fence along the field, and so did Cooley

yeah, casey bramlet and reed doughty both signed down there too. Gibbs signs most everywhere up that line.

Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
Portis finally autographed my fathead, which is awesome. Anyway looks like Rogers and Smoot are kind of buddy buddy, which is suprising to me. Even during practice they were hanging a lot, I also noticed Springs didn't talk with them much at all. Did anyone else see when ARE beat springs on a deep pass along the sideline?

Dang I am getting excited.... I am hoping for some good stuff for my Redskins room... The Gary Clark thing is interesting because I got him and the rest of the posse one time as a kid...

Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
Gate is a good place. Remember it is towards the left behind the field. As soon as the last 11 v 11 drill start winding up you will see people slowly progress to there. Just get a spot right on the fence and you should be good. Also dont heckle the players, I hate when fans do they just so they can get autographs.

I am hoping my kids will be enough to pull players my way. they are huge skins fans, probably because i am obsessed with the skins but that is okay.

Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
What about the Dline? they affect the play of the secondary, those guys cant cover for ever (even though Smoot covers that which is not covered by water). The Dline needs to get pressure and hurry throws to help the secondary out.

Re: Training Camp: Who's going!
Regarding Springs, I can't say for sure but he did get beat by ARE not Moss. Can't really base a whole lot on that. I thought Smoot looked great in man coverage. He was right with everybody. He made some nice hits against ARE and #10. I'm thinking #10 is Espy, but I thought he was hurt. Espy looked real good also (if thats who #10 is), he caught a nice T.D. "jump ball" in the back corner against Rogers.
