Why would you say that, Mister Coach Klein?

man, this at first I mistook this old thread for a new one, until I clicked the link and saw that it was the old pre draft deal. Glad it wasn't new.

Re: Here we go again with Briggs

i liked the idea of adding briggs before the draft. i really thought adding him plus a late 1st rounder was the best value for the next few years . . watching last year it became apparent we needed someone who knows the D scheme at safety to compliment ST but briggs wants too much money for never having played a down in B & G . . . i hope landry plus a healthy springs = less blown assigments

go skins

LEave Briggs alone. Won't the Bears want a lofty draft pick for this guy? Please, please MR. Snyder, let it go and lets start having nice healthy drafts for a change. Your almost 100% FA route has us in constant money trouble and rarely has panned out. We need a youth movement push on the team. Our O linemen are not getting any younger. Neither is Springs for that matter.

i mean while we are trading with the bears and discussing potential trades what about alex brown just throwing a name out there what we need is a heavy d line rotation like what we had in 2005 but more right now we have

carter
daniels
wynn

at the ends

and

griffin golston salavea montgomery at tackles i would feel more comfortable if we got one more guy to add to the rotation wheter it be alex brown, aaron schobel, or julius peppers (yeah right)

Re: Here we go again with Briggs

i cant believe that people would actually be pissed if the skins brought in a pro bowl player. sure, i think the price is too high, but i can also think of alot worse players to bring in. and any player that can make plays on defense is welcome
