I think Zorn and the players just need another year to work out the kinks, if our trio from last year can get their s#*+ together and we have a good draft next offseason I think this team will develop into a real contender.
Unfortunately we're still going to be duking it out with the likes of DAL and NY, but we're not too far off as it is and if we develop our young talent we could certainly catch up. NY seems to have done a great job drafting the past few years, especially on that D-line, we have to hope we can do the same.
That said, Haynesworth is a beast. I'd be totally on board for that move, but even if we do manage to sign him I'd still look to draft DL. IMHO we only really have 3 areas of needs . . . aside from wr, we gotta hope the boys'll pan out, we simply can't justify landing another wr . . . OL, DL, and LB. If we improve just the O-line we're a good team. We improve both OL and DL, we're a very good team; and if this years rooks can finally step up, and contribute ANYTHING we're a great team.
Hail to the future!!

Good post and I agree. You are not going to get any good lineman via free agency because they get wrapped in long term deals until they are no longer that good. It's called draft, which is something we don't so. Same thing with defensive line. The Redskins are one of the only franchises in the NFL that has a disdain and aversion to drafting Lineman.
