So thats why I say we may have a good front 7, but that secondary of ours is hurtful to look at (particularly safety). Thats why I still say the Saints win. And with the whole bounty thing they are going to be throwing out a lot of their anger on us the first game for sure. Oh and they are always fired up first game of the season in that dome. 31-17 Saints
Having been the doormats of the NFC East for the last couple of years, coming in with a new savior (RGIII), improved WR core, yes improved OL (Depth, Williams and 'Steiger are back), better D, secondary is about the same as last year, perhaps slightly improved. The skins will be very fired up and ready to prove people wrong and make them believers. Skins will give the Saints everything they got and will win.

I'll be checking your posts then during the game.

I usually don't post during but will after, I'm very confident in a win.

I don't think Brees will be confused by a defensive scheme that has not evolved since Kevin Greene was a Steeler.

42 to 13 Saints.
Pretty much agree with everything here
Don't think Bree's will quite get 500 yrds,I'm guessing around 375

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

RGIII's first real NFL play will be an 80 yard touchdown. Not a passing touchdown or even a rushing touchdown, but a receiving touchdown on a wildcat play with Banks as qb. There will be 4 wideouts. RGIII will be split out at tailback with Banks at shotgun. RGIII will be wide open on the left sideline with a linebacker trailing 10 yards behind him.

His first play from scrimmage will inspire a 38-3 blowout of the Saints. A mystery coach wearing an Aints paper brown bag over his head at the end of the game from the Saints sideline will shake Shanahan's hand. This will lead to another Saints investigation because there is speculation that the coach is really Sean Payton.

How's that for bold predictions. Ha!

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

Oh ill go 34-30 Skins.

Offensive game with a couple of "bend but don't break" redzone stops from our D. Looking for the front 7 to show up big this game.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

No way Brees doesn't get sacked. No way the Alfred Morris doesn't rush for 100 + yards against that Saints run defense. No way RG3 doesn't throw at least one TD pass. No way does Pierre Garcon not come away with over 100 yards in receptions. No way Washington Redskins don't win this game.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

The Skins, with a rookie QB and a suspect secondary, got a tough draw for the first game.

The crowd noise inside the Super Dome will be difficult for RGIII and Brees will toast the Skins secondary.

Saints 34, Redskins 17

I hope to be proven wrong.

Go Redskins! Beat the Saints!

I see a Saints D that is not very good versus the run. We use the three headed attack and play keep away from an explosive Saints offense.

Skins 24
Saints 23

Going to be a tough one!

PAIN MOTHER ****ERS!

AND, we win 24-20. I think we can actually put up points on them and truly if we score a TD on our first drive, and can just get even a LITTLE defensive success to where the Saints have to play from behind, I think we can take them.

Saints were 8-0 at home last year. Not sure how to call this one.
