Hakeem Nicks will miss Redskins game (Leg Injury)

Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks to miss three weeks with leg injury | NJ.com

I know its 2 weeks away but the Giants could be down their top 2 WRs Nicks and Smith when they travel to Washington. Seems like The giants could be in for a long stretch if they want to make the playoffs. They host the HOT Jags this sunday.

Nicks is a Pro Bowler this year, He is dominating defenses so this is a HUGE plus for us.. I hate to see injuries but lets face it, we have our share

The g-men looked dominant a few weeks back, now they're starting to drop like flies & don't look as tough. We'll have our hands full no matter what w/them.

Manningham is a playmaker in his own right.

I thought he would be a superstar out of Mich, he's solid but no Nicks

Even so, would you start him over Moss or Armstrong on this team? I would be tempted to.

Nah, Manningham is a third receiver on this team and is a little too Devin Thomas-y for my tastes. His gaffes are usually spectacular.

I think he has more football ability than DT ever would, but for the same reason I think giving up on Thomas was justifiable, I think Manningham is closer to the end in the pros than many think. I think the Giants want to replace him, and just haven't found anyone capable enough, especially with Steve Smith out.

Well if we win that game. This injury to Nicks will be the reason. Just another losing win

Seriously, the Giants season seems to be losing momentum, I thought for sure they were taking the Div. Now I'm not so sure. Has anyone else noticed that deer in headlight look in Eli's face lately?

I'm still awed at how well the Skins played with all the injuries we suffered. HTTR!!!

Seems like the Giants have made standard practice out of starting hot and falling off in the second half.

Its odd how they are becoming known for that. Almost like the anti-Chargers

Tougher conference I would say. Although the AFC West used to be crap, now is somewhat respectable.

I guess it will come down to which offense will be able to capitalize on either short fields or possible turnovers. Although right now I think they may have the better running game. I would love for us to get a W against them though, they've had our number the past couple of seasons.

They have a lot of injuries on the OL and WR positions. Basically we'll be evenly matched.
