Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Merriwether proved to be better by a large margin in only 1 half of playing football. Jackson is better than either Madieu Williams or Reed Doughty playing with a blunt in one hand. Thats the problem, the NFL doesnt allow that. Seeing as our "starters" at safety played all of around 30 minutes the entire season.

Either one of the new safeties are better than Madieu Williams, who is no longer with the team. They dont really need to be all that good to be better than Doughty. Doughty knows where to be, he just needs a taxi to get there in time.

Now, if you have insider information as to whether Tanard, Fred, and Trent had a party for the rookies, and they are all going to be suspended, then thats a whole different ballgame.
I'm not gonna lie; that one half he played, he looked like a Defensive MVP candidate. He was playing amazing.

Again, I'm very excited about Bacarri Rambo and everything I'm reading about him sounds good. Haven't been this happy the Redskins picked a player I wanted since...

Maybe he knew he was only good for one half a year so he went all out?

Looks like barring a freak accident, London Fletcher will start the season with the distinction as having the longest consecutive games-played streak for active players.

Can we say Maryland or Virginia Redskins - That's what I'd tell DC

Hopefully VA. Maryland already has a football team.

True. My point is if DC keeps pushing the name change if I were Synder that's what I'd tell them

R-r-r-richmond R-r-r-redskins r-r-r-rolls off the tongue.

Seriously, as far as I know, the D.C. Council does not have the authority to demand that the Redskins organization disassociate itself from D.C. by removing the word "Washington" from the team's name.

Dan Snyder is adamant that he will "NEVER" change the name of the team and I'm betting that he means the "Washington" part, as well.

Agreed about the DC Council. Maybe PG where the stadium is, or Ashburn where the headquarters are, but DC doesn't have any leverage or hold over the name "Washington". As alot of stuff is, the DC Council act is just political showmanship...
