Unless they changed the rule recently, those tinted visors cannot be used in the regular season unless they have a legitimate doctor's clearance for a vision condition.
LaDanian Tomlinson was allowed for that reason. I think Portis tried and got fined for a tinted visor once. He tested every uniform rule.  Uni Watch » Don’t Even Think About It
