Re: Redskins Lions postgame

Did Rambo even play yesterday? I never heard his name once. Also, as I was watching the game yesterday, I said to myself, we can make average players of other teams seem All-World. Not All-Pros, but All-World. They will have the best games of their careers against us. Our Offense made mistakes, but our Defense can not be trusted to stop anyone. We were totaly relying on Matt Stafford to make a bad throw in order for the Redskins Defense to get off the field on 3rd down. DeAngelo Hall made one play, but no one else did anything. Ryan Kerrigan is the only guy that can consistently tackle

Re: Redskins Lions postgame

He's going to be fine. To expect him to start Week 1 and resume his 2012 form immediately would be crazy. My only wish for Week 1 was for his knee to hold out after some big hits.

He's the the main problem right now. His game is definitely not back to 100% yet but you can't put these losses on him alone.

Short memory, people...we went 3-6 last season and won the division. This season is shaping up to follow a similar route.

Who in this division is going to challenge us in December? We're improving little by little every week...Philly and the Giants are going in the opposite direction. NJ's offensive line is falling apart and they will not have any effective RBs in 2013. The Eagles and Spurriier 2.0 have been exposed and their offense can't outscore their own D's points allowed. Dallas still has Romo in December.

Yes, I'm disappointed, but I'm not worried. No cliff-jumping YET.

Hurt early. Looked minor like a cramp but he never came back. Josh Wilson took his place at FS.

Meriweather survived an entire game!

<edit>
Update, Rambo was suffering from PMS:

Injury Updates: Jordan Reed Bruises Knee | Redskins Journal

Bacarri Rambo left the game with what appeared to be a right leg injury but was later revealed to merely be cramping.

I tend to agree. At this point you got say Robert has been a disappointment so far this season. What double sucks is even if we shit the bed this year we don't get jack for it in the draft.

If OAK puts any fight up against the Bronco's tonight god help us next week. 0-4 going into the BYE week is just ugly.

It is all so unbelievable to me considering our preseason.

That's not totally true, all our other picks are higher in each round also.

If I recall correctly sans the 91 season Gibb's teams were always slow starting.

Re: Redskins Lions postgame

What is the update on some of our injuries yesterday? Rambo was knocked out and Reed, do we have any idea how bad they are?

Amerson made some nice plays and is improving nicely. He could be a solid corner in the coming years.

Re: Redskins Lions postgame

Rob has been getting better every week....he is FAR from our biggest problem. We can't tackle, can't cover, can't run block, etc. He's improved each week 3 more weeks and he will be much improved. We have way too many issues than just Rob not being Rob yet. I think if we lose next wknd there will be a change. I'm thinking Haz will be out and Raheem gets a shot at it. We will see though.
