Re: Around the NFL Week 5

The thing about the INT yesterday was it was just such a horrible read and throw. No excuse for Romo to throw that

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

I assure you, Tony Romo isn't the problem. If your offense scores 48 points and you still lose, chances are it's not the QB. Peyton also had a interception last night, and 5 TDs just like Romo did. I guess Rob Ryan wasn't the problem after all.

Fair or not it's only going to add this his legacy of failing with the game on the line. Yeah he played a great game but...

That's always the thing with him.

28 point spread and they'll probably still cover easily.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

As much as I hate to admit it, Dez Bryant is becoming a monster. He can go up and get balls that most WRs cannot catch and is bailing Romo out like Boldin did for Flacco last season.

If he's just grow up and stop the off- and on-field drama, he could be the 2nd-best WR in the league behind Calvin Johnson.

^ Watch out for Justin Blackmon when he gets a QB as well

How about ELI? He's on pace to throw 40 Ints!

True he did not give up the 51 points to Denver's offense, but he literally handed them the game when he had the chance to drive for the winning FG himself. All he had to do was not do exactly what he did, put the ball in the hands of a Denver defender. He threw the ball right into 3 of them! Look how open Demarco Murray was right in front of him too, no defender within 10 yards in every direction.

He put up huge #s but he''ll never change, he chokes when the game is on the line. Always has, always will.

He's a lot like McNabb...can fill up the stat-line sometimes but cannot function in pressure situations and his team will never get over the hump. Also prone to 4-INT games. He's due for one...might be this week. Last year he had a 3-INT game against us, plus a 4-INT and 5-INT game. He's had at least one of those 3-to 5-INT games every season....several 5-pick games.

He has a ceiling and we've seen it.

Eli, 6 TDs and 9 INTs...wish we were playing them soon!

I think Denver was missing 4 or 5 Defensive starters. Their Defense should not normally be that bad. Peyton realized that and played the clock great at the end of the game so as not to let Romo come back on the field.

Champ Bailey was out.

That, plus the guys they had on the field were overall bad. Rodgers-Cromartie was cut by the worst D in football, the Eagles.

Then, the lost Woodyard, Ayers and Chris Harris to injuries in the game.

It's no secret Denver's D is horrible. Losing Dumervil was devastating and they're really missing Von Miller too.

They were ranked 30th against the pass BEFORE this game, with Bailey on the field.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

I had the G-men getting their first win yesterday. Im shocked right now how bad they are. This might be it for Coughlin, but I've said that before. That Oline is completely eff up. They seriously need to look at 3-4 new starters next year, it needs to be completely rebuilt.

Their secondary has always been shakey, but now with them not being able to sustain a pass rush, its going abused left and right.

Multiple problems for the giants.
